Pachira aquatica, also known as the Money Tree, is a relatively low maintenance plant that features unusual braided trunks. They prefer bright, indirect light, with moderate humidity. Originally found in Central and South American swamps, these trees can grow to be up to 60 feet tall in their natural habitat. In your home, expect 3-6 feet tall with vibrant green leaves. Money trees are hardy in zones 10-12, but should otherwise be kept indoors.
This plant ships fully rooted in a 6" grower pot, approximately 14-16" tall.
