The osteospermum features rich purple flowers among deep green foliage. As an evergreen in areas without frost, the osteospermum is perfect for patio containers and mass planting. These eye catching flowers bloom through spring, summer, and autumn and are both deer resistant and drought tolerant. Once established, the plant will grow in mounds from 12-14 inches in size and are wonderfully suited to cuttings for indoor table or shelf use.
- Thrives in most average soils including sandy, loamy, and gritty
- To encourage reblooming, trim faded flowers and prune before new growths in early spring
- Grows well both alone and combined in containers and hanging baskets
