Pack of 14 cell grown mixed Kohl Rabi plants.

This is a mixed pack containing 2 Kohl Rabi Varieties - Ballot (Purple) and Korfu (Green)

Kohl Rabi is fast growing. Plant about 25cm apart and harvest when the roots have swollen to somewhere between the size of a golf and a tennis ball. They may look odd, but they are actually very tasty and are a great addition to salads and coleslaws.

Kohl Rabi Ballot is an excellent quality purple-skinned variety with crisp, white internal flesh. It produces a flattish, round shape bulb with good holding ability, and is slow to go pithy.

Kohl Rabi Korfu is versatile hybrid green skinned variety of kohl rabi which can also be planted under cover for extra-early harvesting. It has very little pithy tissue, and is a slow-bolting, quick maturing variety.

Delivery : upto 10 days, we send plants monday - wednesday.

How are these plants supplied?

The vegetable plants are supplied as individual cell grown plants, that are ready to place straight into your garden or vegetable plot. The plants are sown in commmercial size plug trays that we then cut to give a strip of 14 plants. The tray is then packed in to one of our specially designed boxes, this way the plants roots are protected during transit.
