About this beetroot variety.
Beetroot F1 Cylindra is a good quality, late-ripening variety. It produces tasty cylindrical beets that have a good colour and are perfect for slicing. This variety shows good disease resistance, is slow to bolt, and stores well over a long period.
How are these plants supplied?
The vegetable plants are supplied as multi-sown cell grown plants that are ready to plant out into your garden or allotment. Although you may split the plug up into individual plants if you prefer, we suggest that you plant the plug as a whole as the beets will push away from each other as they grow. Can also be grown in containers.
