Information about the vegetable plants we sell.

Cell Tray Grown Vegetable Plants

All Brassica, Onion, Beetroot and Lettuce are supplied as individual cell grown plants, that are ready to place straight into your garden or vegetable plot.
The vegetable plants are sown in commmercial size plug trays that we then cut to give a strip of 14 plants. The tray is then packed in to one of our specially designed boxes, this way the plants roots are protected during transit. We do not send in bags.
The plants you receive will be heathly young plants ready to plant out into your garden. Should you not be quite ready for planting, once unpacked from the boxes and watered, the plants will stay in their trays quite happily for about an extra week.

Tomato Plug Plants

Simply pot into a minimum 9cm pot and grow on for 10 - 14 days. They can then be transferred in to the greenhouse and growbags, or into larger pots which can eventually be placed outside.

Sweet Pepper and Chilli Plants

Our Chilli and Pepper plants will be delivered to you at the perfect stage for potting on. They are the same as those we use on our nursery, and we offer over a good choice of varieties at great value for money. Size of the plants depends on the variety.

The plants are placed in plastic bags, then in to one of our specially designed recyclable boxes which holds them secure for posting.
