Cabbage Duchy is a superb class leading pointed cabbage developed mainly for hearted cabbage use, but also suitable for greens production when young. It is an attractive colour and has good flavour. Duchy can be picked from June to October, and with its excellent holding ability, you can pick the cabbages over several months. The heads will store well once picked.Cabbage Redruth is a new red pointed cabbage that works well alongside Duchy in this variety twin pack. It gives good yields with a clean base. Harvest June to October.
How are these plants supplied?
The vegetable plants are supplied as individual plug grown plants, that are ready to place straight into your garden or vegetable plot. The plants are sown in commercial size plug trays that we then cut to give a strip of 14 plants. The tray is then packed in to one of our specially designed boxes, this way the plants roots are protected during transit.
The plants are mixed in equal amounts as seeds in the seed tray, and the % of each variety that you receive will be determined by which seeds are picked up by the seeder and sown into that tray.
