This is a pack of 6 Tomato plants in 2 varieties for April delivery.

This Duo plug plant pack contains the following varieties:

• 3 x Tomato San Marzano
• 3 x Tomato Brandywine

Tomato San Marzano is an italian plum tomato mainly used for cooking as it contains very little water and few seeds. Many consider this to be the best variety for making sauces. Best grown as a cordon, requiring cane support.

Tomato Brandywine is an large fruited heritage beefsteak variety that dates back to 1885. The large, vigorous plants produce large deep-red fruits in clusters of 4 to 6 with excellent old-fashioned tomatoey flavours. A potato leaf cordon type needing cane support.

Both these these varieties are suitable greenhouse or outdoor growing in warm sheltered positions after the risk of frost has passed. If you are intending on growing outside, we recommend you order Tomato Plants for April or May delivery.

How are these plants supplied?

These tomato plants are supplied as pot ready plug plants. On delivery pot on into a minimum of a 9cm pot then grow on until they are considered large enough for planting in their final position.

Tomato plants are available: March - July

Plant Spacing: Grow approx 40cm apart, 3 in a growbag, or in 1 per large container pot.
