However for mixed baskets there is an alternative that you may find better than surfinia. Petunia Fanfare is a British bred series from the same breeders as Tumbelina and Primula Balerina - think of them as home grown versions of the Japanese Surfinias. Fanfare are trailing petunias, featuring large single flowers, which are show off their colours and patterns very well. We have selected some of the best colours, and whilst they trail impressively, they are more compact and bushy than many of the Surfinias so we consider them more suitable for mixed hanging basket and containers.
