Cabbage Collars - Box of 20.

These reuseable cabbage collars are made from copper impregnated material which will deter cabbage root fly and repel slugs. In addition, the collars will stop weed germination around the plant stem and conserve moisture.

How to Use.

Prepare the soil and insert the plants as normal. Firm the soil around the plant and slide the collar around the stem until the plants is in the centre of the collar. Firm the collar to the soil and then water thoroughly.

When the plant is well established and the danger from cabbage root fly and slug is over, the collar may be removed. If done carefully the collar can then be reused.

Contains : 20 collars - 12.5cm in diameter.

Please Note : Cabbage collars may not be 100% effective against cabbage root fly, where an outbreak of the pest is severe, in this case we recommend covering with enviromesh.
