| Geraniums - Quality plug plants.Geraniums are fantastic plants and are a true spectacle when planted en mass in bedding schemes, however they are so versatile that the majority are planted in smaller numbers in mixed pots, hanging baskets and window boxes. All geraniums listed here are tender plants and as a result you should wait until all risk of frost has passed before planting outside, or pot up first in a frost-free place such as an unheated greenhouse. Once all risk of frost has passed these plants will require no special treatment and will enjoy the British weather. When planting your new plants and initially thereafter it is essential that you water them well. At first plants will not require any fertilizer, although we recommend incorporating a balanced slow-release fertilizer into the compost when planting so they get off to a good start. When flower buds start to appear you should apply a high potassium tomato feed to encourage further blooms.
