General Comments

Arran Pilot has been one of the UK's favourite garden potato varieties for decades! It has remained popular due to its excellent taste and high yields of white skinned tubers that are among the best boilers available.

Arran Pilot is successful in all soil conditions including light soils. It is slug resistant and resistant to common scab, as well as showing great resistance to all other forms of scab and scoring highly for spraing resistance.

Main culinary uses are boiling and chipping.
